They stressed that their donations are part of extending the "same courtesy” to Jordan that the Kingdom has extended by hosting a large number of Syrian citizens who reside inside or outside refugee camps, and those who work or have investments in the Kingdom.
The donations consist of JD400,000 allocated to the Ministry of Health to support its efforts in curbing the spread of the coronavirus, in addition to in-kind items at a value of JD200,000 for the Ministry of Social Development, they said.
The Syrian business owners called on everyone to support the efforts of the government to combat the disease and protect the safety and health of citizens and residents of Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
