King, Queen commend teachers’ initiatives for facilitating distance learning
Nayrouz News Agency : Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania, in a video call on Wednesday, commended a number of teachers for initiatives to facilitate distance learning for their students.

During the call, Their Majesties said that they are following the teachers' efforts closely, noting that this sense of initiative enhances teamwork, which serves the students' education, according to a Royal Court statement.

King Abdullah said that the teachers are a role model of dedication and a source of pride for all Jordanians, urging all educators to continue cooperating and exchanging ideas in this regard.

His Majesty underscored the importance of continuing to develop distance learning tools to ensure the sustainability of the education process under the current extraordinary circumstances, with global expectations that the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic will continue for months.

Queen Rania also thanked the teachers for their perseverance despite the tough circumstances and the increased responsibility on teachers, principals, parents and students, according to the statement.
