Royal directives: 34 families in Madaba get new homes
Nayrouz News Agency : Thirty-four families in Madaba on Saturday received new residences as part of a Royal Initiative to build homes for underprivileged families, while work is in progress to build another 11 residential units in the central region.

The initiative, which was launched in 2005 under Royal directives covering the entire Kingdom, aims at providing beneficiary families with a stable life in a healthy and safe environment while improving their living conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, who is also the head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal Initiatives, handed over the keys to the beneficiaries and toured the furnished housing units in Madaba's Dalilat Al Hamaydah and Theiban's Aliah regions.

Issawi also attended the opening of Bnayat Primary Healthcare Centre in Amman's Naur district, as per direct Royal directives made during His Majesty King Abdullah's meeting with the region's dignitaries, a move aimed at improving health services presented to citizens.

His Majesty puts improving the quality of life of Jordanian citizens and upgrading the level of services provided to them at the forefront of his priorities, Issawi  said.

He checked on the 863 sq.m healthcare centre in Naur, which includes an emergency room, maternity and specialised general medicine clinics, in addition to a dental clinic and laboratory, pharmacy and an X-ray unit, among other facilities, according to Petra.
