AMMAN - The Participants in the "Jordan is Paradise - Jordan still is Good" by the program praised trips and tourist experiences that the program provides to the tourist areas in the governorates of the Kingdom and the success it has achieved since its launch, confirming its great contribution to encouraging domestic tourism, and providing the opportunity for citizens and residents to visit archaeological and tourist sites in all cities.  The owners of tourist establishments participating in the program noted the extent of its contribution to revitalizing domestic tourism and mitigating the losses they suffered as a result of the Corona pandemic, by increasing the number of visitors and visitors to restaurants and hotels, noting that the program contributed to moving the economy in the region, the local community and other establishments. During interviews conducted by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), on the trip designated as part of the program to the city of Petra today, Thursday, the participants expressed their satisfaction with the preventive, health and public safety measures taken by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities against the Corona virus, as the Ministry took several preventive measures such as sterilizing transport buses and facilities And tourist sites, and allocated a caravan for each tourist destination with a capacity of 75 percent, to ensure that there is no congestion and divergence in the tourist sites and inside the bus, in addition to measuring temperatures before boarding the buses.

One of the participants in the trip, Muhammad Al-Noihi, told (Petra) that the program provided him and his family with a unique tourism experience, at low prices and accessible to all, calling on citizens to participate in the program and see the tourist areas included in his trips. Al Hajjah Um Youssef, who accompanies her children on the trip, praised the support provided by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority, which enabled them to participate in the program, as well as the organizational measures that it took, the accurate departure dates, and the provision of comfortable and air-conditioned transportation on the program trips, pointing out that the accompanying tourist guide Provide them with historical and cultural information about the area.

The owner of one of the restaurants participating in the program said that the program contributed significantly to increasing the restaurant’s income after it was suspended due to the Corona pandemic, and contributed to raising its ability to meet the salaries of its workers and maintain them, pointing out that the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the concerned authorities implemented before the start of the program and is continuing until now. To conduct periodic inspection tours to ensure the facility's readiness and compliance with general safety conditions to receive program participants.

 The tour guide accompanying the trip, Hussam Tayseer, confirmed that the program helped him to return to work again after he stopped in the last period because there are no foreign tourist groups, indicating that during the trip he explains about the Jordan Paradise program and introduces the tourist attractions and the importance of preserving them.

The price of the trip to Petra for the Jordanian citizen in the Jordan Paradise Program ranges from 4,8 dinars to 5,4 dinars, and includes lunch, transportation, a city tour, and a visit to the Petra Museum. The "Jordan is a Paradise - Jordan is fine" program aims to stimulate domestic tourism, so that the program provides free transportation and support for food, drink and accommodation costs by 40 percent for the Jordanian citizen, 20 percent for Arabs, and free transportation for foreigners in distinctive tourist destinations in order to revive the internal tourism movement.

 The program focuses on encouraging citizens and residents to participate in visiting dozens of tourist destinations, in exceptional tourism experiences, by making use of distinctive tourism services in these destinations, as well as empowering local communities and service providers to actively participate in the local tourism industry, which leads to the movement of The economy of local communities, increasing the incomes of economic families, and creating viable local job opportunities.

 In the second season of the "Jordanna Paradise" program, tourism offices, local airlines, the Association of Tourist Guides, the Tourism Transport Association and Tourist Restaurants were involved, so that this time in a real partnership with the Ministry and the Authority.
