His Majesty King Abdullah, on October 16, is scheduled to participate in the 2020 Borlaug Dialogue, which will be held by the World Food Prize Foundation between October 12 and 16, via teleconference.
The dialogue will focus on developing the agricultural and food processing sectors, and will see the participation of representatives of UN agencies, NGOs, and international institutions working in the agricultural and food processing sectors, according to a Royal Court statement.
Over five days, participants will discuss the impact of climate change on food security, food accessibility and equal access, nutrition and investment in modern agriculture methods and technology to improve the quality and availability of food.
The World Food Prize Foundation, based in the US state of Iowa, seeks to elevate innovations and inspire action to sustainably increase the quality, quantity and availability of food for all.
