13 deaths, 1,317 new COVID19 cases in Jordan

Jordan has recorded 13 deaths and 1,317 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, 1,312 of which are local cases, bringing the total of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 21,517, a statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Health Ministry said.

The local cases include 895 in Amman, 102 in Zarqa, 16 in Irbid, including four in Ramtha, 11 in Maan, 8 in Jerash, 7 in Ajlun, 213 in Karak, 27 in Balqa, 11 in Aqaba, 9 in Madaba, 7 in Tafilah, and 6 in Mafraq.

The cases from abroad involve 5 people who have come from various countries.

A total of 202 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan, 37 have been discharged from Prince Hamza Hospital, 140 from the isolation areas in the Dead Sea region, 11 from Queen Alia Military Hospital and 14 from private hospitals.

A total of 20,399 PCR tests have been conducted on Thursday, bringing the total number to 1,371,511.
