Prime Minister-designate Bishr Khasawneh on Thursday met with President of the Senate Faisal Al-Fayez, kicking off consultations over the formation of the new government.

During the meeting, Al-Fayez affirmed the Senate’s commitment to cooperating with the next government to serve citizens and national interests.

For his part, the PM-designate expressed his adherence to His Majesty King Abdullah’s Royal directives in the Letter of Designation, and to consulting with the legislative authority in a way that serves the interests of the nation.
