Nayrouz News Agency : Temperatures are expected to rise few degrees on Thursday, but relatively cold weather will continue to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be moderate, with southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily breif.

At night, the department forecast that the weather will turn to be colder with the appearance of high clouds and light changeable winds.

Friday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with southwesterly to southeasterly moderate winds, the department predicted.

As for Saturday, mercury levels will slightly increase, bringing fair conditions countrywide, with clouds at various altitudes and southwesterly moderate to active winds, the JMD further said.

Temperatures in Amman today will hover around 19 Celsius degrees, dropping to 8C during night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 26C, sliding into 15C during night hours.
