Nayrouz News Agency : Germany has on Thursday dispatched a plane carrying 15 ventilators to Jordan to help contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
The aid aims to support Jordan's efforts to deal with Covid-19, and enhance the capabilities and response of the Jordanian health system in containing the virus, as these devices are used to treat the severe virus-related symptoms, according to a gov't press statement.
The assistance also comes within the framework of the "solid" relations between the two friendly countries, and seeks to strengthen the global solidarity in combating the virus, the statement added.
The plane, which has landed at Muwafaq Al-Salti military base, was received by German embassy's officials.
