Govt announces Christmas, New Year holiday

Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh announced that Thursday, December 24 will be an official Christmas holiday for Christian employees and students.

In a communiqué issued on Monday, the Prime Minister also decided that Thursday, December 31 will be an official holiday for Christian employees and students marking New Year's Day.
