Farraya says 72 Covid patients busted breaking home quarantine
Nayrouz News Agency :
A total of 72 coronavirus patients were busted breaking home quarantine rules, in violation of defense orders, and they were taken to field hospitals to complete the isolation period, Interior Minister Mazen Farraya said on Tuesday.

Some of the violators, who completed the quarantine period, were referred to the competent judicial authorities facing a JD500 penalty, the minister stated, noting that the others will be referred to the judiciary after completing their quarantine.

Farraya stressed that such procedure comes in implementation of the defense orders and as part of efforts undertaken by the ministry on following up home-quarantined people.

The minister also noted that inspection teams will intensify their field visits on shops and people to ensure their adherence to defense orders and public health requirements.
