Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Kreishan on Wednesday met with Chairman of Iraqi Federal Service Council Mahmoud Al Tamimi and an accompanying delegation.
During the meeting at the Prime Ministry, Kreishan said that the Iraqi delegation visit is aimed at advancing Jordanian-Iraqi relations and discussed means to boost exchange of expertise and the capabilities of the two countries’ public administration agencies towards improving services provision.
Kreishan also stressed His Majesty Abdullah keenness on bolstering Jordanian-Iraqi cooperation and coordination in all fields, notably public administration reform and modernisation.
Highlighting the importance of the recent trilateral summit between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq in Baghdad, Tamimi said that that the outcomes of the summit should be reflected in all aspects of social life in the three countries, notably the strengthening of cooperation and coordination in the field of public administration and civil service.
He also commended His Majesty’s unceasing efforts towards supporting Iraq and enhancing bilateral ties in all fields.
Head of Jordan's Civil Service Bureau (CSB) Sameh Al Nasser, during the meeting, said that the Iraqi delegation's visit to the bureau was "fruitful" in terms of exchanging expertise in human resource management and planning in the public sector, praising Iraq's capabilities in this arena
