Prince Feisal wishes Jordan’s Olympic team success

HRH Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee, on Thursday congratulated the athletes who will represent Jordan in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

The prince praised the efforts exerted by the qualifiers, their technical staff and their sports unions during the qualification period, wishing them success in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, whose competitions are scheduled to start on July 23.

Jordan will be represented in the upcoming Olympic Games by 14 male and female athletes, making up the largest number of Jordanian participants in the history of the Kingdom’s Olympic participation, which began in the Moscow Olympics in 1980. 

Jordan will represent eight different sports in the Olympic Games: Equestrian, boxing, taekwondo, karate, judo, archery, athletics and swimming.
