Circular No. 42 forms support programme for full wages
Nayrouz News Agency :
Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Sunday issued Circular No. 42 of 2021, pertaining to the formation of a sub-programme titled Taafi (recovery), as part of the Social Security Corporation’s (SSC) Estidama (sustainability) programme, to help a number of institutions pay the full wages of their workers.

The Estidama programme targets institutions that are unauthorised to operate during the pandemic and hard-hit sectors by the coronavirus pandemic.

Based on the provisions of Defence Order No. 24 of 2020, Circular No. 42 stipulates that the SSC director general is entitled to identify the procedures of accessing the sub-programme and name the eligible sectors and institutions, to be chosen from the beneficiaries of the Estidama programme.

The beneficiaries of the Taafi programme will receive their full wages, with 30 per cent covered by the Istidama programme and 70 per cent by the institution, according to the circular, the Jordan News Agency,  Petra,  reported.

The five-month Taafi programme will come into effect as of August 2021 until the end of December 2021.
