Nayrouz News Agency : The boxing team bid farewell to the World Championship: The player of the national boxing team, Ziad Ashish, bid farewell to the World Boxing Championship competitions, which was held in the Serbian capital Belgrade, by losing Tuesday in the quarter-finals in the under 71 kg competitions.  Ziad Ashish was unable to achieve his fourth victory in the tournament and lost to Albanian boxer Alban Bakiri by decision of the judges 4-1.  Ziad Ashish had started his career in the tournament with a historic and exciting victory over Cuban Roniel Iglesias, who is considered one of the most prominent boxers in the world, as he recently won the gold in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and before that he had won the gold in the London Olympics in 2012.  After that, Olympian Ziad Ashish achieved his second victory in the world championship by overcoming his Slovenian opponent Edin, and in the round of 16, "Ashish" succeeded in overcoming the obstacle of the Norwegian boxer Dan Emni.With Ziad Ashish's exit from the tournament, our national team has finished its participation after being represented by 4 players:  The worship of Al-Kisbah, Uday Al-Hindawi, Hussein Ashish and Ziad Ashish.
