Nayrouz News Agency : Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Al-Shamali confirmed that the Jordanian government is taking measures to facilitate the flow of goods between Jordan and Palestine in both directions, which would increase the volume of trade exchange, especially since it is much less than the ambitions of the governments of the two countries.
This came during his meeting with the President of the Palestinian Businessmen Forum Amer Al-Osaili and the President of the Jordanian-Palestinian Business Forum Nazmi Atmeh, in the presence of a delegation of Palestinian businessmen and the Secretary-General of the Ministry Dana Al-Zoubi.
The minister stressed, in a statement today, Saturday, the importance of establishing economic activities and joint committees at all levels between the two brotherly countries because of their great role in strengthening and developing economic and commercial cooperation relations, in light of distinguished historical relations and great opportunities to find forms of complementarity between economic activities and joint investments in Jordan and Palestine.
The head of the delegation and the attendees of the Palestinian businessmen valued the facilities provided by the Kingdom to support the Palestinian economy. During the meeting, a number of proposals were presented that would increase trade exchange between the two parties, the possibility of which will be pursued in coordination with the competent authorities.
