His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Tuesday, attended a joint military exercise conducted by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), with the participation of security agencies, ministries, and national institutions.
The exercise, held at King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC), simulating a terrorist chemical attack and the scenario of freeing hostages, aimed to raise the level of coordination and readiness of the rapid response system in managing crises related to chemical and biological agents and hazardous materials, in order to control and limit their impact.
Crown Prince Al Hussein was briefed on the rapid response system, which consists of specialised teams from the JAF, the Public Security Directorate, the General Intelligence Department, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Environment, and the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management.
