Nayrouz News Agency : Waad Rabaa’a and Aisha Anani- The contents of the electoral programs for the candidates of major municipalities in the Kingdom varied, between economic development programs with a qualitative and comprehensive vision for their cities, and service programs aimed at improving the reality of services provided to the local community.
 Most of the electoral programs of the candidates of the major municipalities stressed the importance of partnership and investment with the private sector to create a development map of a productive and investment nature that guarantees the principle of justice in geographical distribution, in addition to establishing projects to increase financial revenues for major municipalities, reduce financial waste and provide job opportunities for members of the local community, to reduce poverty and achieve the desired economic growth.
 The programs also stressed the need to work to create an attractive and encouraging investment environment for investors and citizens to engage in individual and joint investment work, and to localize investment in the targeted sectors: agriculture, tourism and services, and to provide facilities and incentives, and to seek the assistance of free investment and service expertise houses specialized in these areas, and to work to consolidate relations with International institutions to obtain grants and assistance for the work of non-profit projects that help reduce unemployment and poverty rates.
 Most of the electoral programs focused on the production level, to create an organized marketing chain distributed to all regions of the municipalities, in cooperation with the Chambers of Industry and Commerce, in addition to supporting the commercial sector and addressing distortions and traffic jams that negatively affect the movement of commercial activity and citizens in various major municipalities.
 The programs also dealt with interest in historical, archaeological and tourist areas located in all governorates of the Kingdom to make optimal use of these sites and to become internal and external tourist attractions, activating tourist paths in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Promotion Authority and working to increase the period of stay of tourists in tourist areas, in addition to establishing, managing and developing The necessary facilities and services in these areas, and carrying out all the necessary matters for the exercise of any economic activity.
 The electoral programs included rehabilitating the old markets to keep pace with the commercial and tourism movement, preserve their privacy and identity, and remove all distortions from them.
 Many electoral programs emphasized the importance of empowering women economically within the major municipalities and working to highlight their role in economic development, by establishing and activating a unit specialized in empowering women to help them improve their economic situation. Professional and productive for women, such as food processing projects, handicrafts and crafts.
 On the role of youth support and rehabilitation, the programs addressed the importance of working to support young people, enhance their capabilities and capabilities, involve them in development and service decision-making, and open the way for them to engage in civil society institutions and international organizations interested in the role of youth.
 Renewable energy was not absent from the electoral programs of the candidates, as it addressed the importance of activating the solar energy project in various major municipalities in the Kingdom, leading to a zero bill by addressing problems related to lighting, indicating that it has burdened many municipalities with debts.
