 A drop in mercury is forecast Saturday and the weather will be fair countrywide, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

According to the JMD report, a slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, and the weather will be warm countrywide.

On Monday, a slight drop in in temperatures is expected, and the weather will be fair, with northwesterly active winds.


In addition, another drop is expected on Tuesday, to become lower than their seasonal averages.

Also on Saturday, mercury in the capital Amman will range between a high of 25 degrees Celsius and a low of 11C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a a scorching 35C, sliding to 22C during night hours.
