Under Royal directives, Issawi visits injured Jordanian peacekeepers

Under Royal directives, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi visited, at the King Hussein Medical City, three Jordanian peacekeepers injured during their participation in a logistic convoy of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali.
Issawi conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings and pride to the injured for the role and efforts of the armed forces’ members within the international peacekeeping forces, and His Majesty’s wishes for a speedy recovery.
On Wednesday, an attack took place in Mali on the UN convoy and claimed the life of a Jordanian peacekeeper and injured three other Jordanian soldiers, who are currently under medical treatment at the medical city.
