Nayrouz News Agency : On 7 August 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman, in cooperation with Family’s Basket Hypermarket, organized an opening event of "Thai Food Weeks” at the Family’s Basket Hypermarket, Taj Lifestyle Center. The opening event was part of a 2 week-long activities aimed at promoting Thai halal food products under the broad theme of "Essence of Thailand”, which is intended to showcase various economic and cultural aspects of Thailand in Jordan. During the opening event, the chefs from the Thai residence demonstrated live cooking of famous Thai dishes such as Thai jasmine rice, Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai shrimp and Thai green curry chicken. The event was well attended by Jordanians, expats, journalists and Thai community living in Jordan. The Royal Thai Embassy will hold another live cooking show on Saturday 13 August 2022, starting from 16.00 hrs. at the Family’s Basket Hypermarket, Taj Lifestyle Center. No entrance fee and no reservation required.
