Nayrouz News Agency :
HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, Chairperson of the Higher Committee of the National Goodwill Campaign, was reassured on the health conditions of the charity's patients during a visit to Shmaisani Hospital in Amman.

The patients underwent free surgeries under the supervision of specialized volunteer doctors of the National Goodwill Campaign, all of which were successful, and came as part of the "Healing Touch" program of the campaign.

During the visit, Her Highness witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the National Goodwill Campaign and Shmaisani Hospital, which was sealed by Director of the Fertility and Genetics Unit, Dr. Hilal Abu Ghosh, on behalf of the hospital, and the campaign's medical team leader, Dr. Nayef Al-Abdallat.

Her Highness expressed the campaign's pride in "this humanitarian partnership model between national institutions, especially medical institutions, with the aim of providing qualitative and advanced treatment services to patients from the various regions of the Kingdom."

She said in the presence of members of the Higher Committee of the National Goodwill Campaign and Shmaisani Hospital Director, Dr. Fahmy Al-Jabi, that the treatment service provided by the campaign to patients, in cooperation with its partners, constitute a "qualitative leap" in their lives and contribute to ending their suffering and helping them lead a normal life.

Her Highness praised the efforts of the campaign partners of private medical institutions, stressing that such cooperation is to serve and treat patients as it reflects the values of social solidarity and social responsibility of the various national institutions towards members of society.

During the visit, Her Highness was briefed on the nature of the surgeries by the specialized medical team, who reassured about their patients' safety, stable condition and full recovery.

For his part, Dr. Abu Ghosh said that the partnership between Shmaisani Hospital and the National Goodwill Campaign reflects the hospital’s keenness to carry a humanitarian role towards the campaign’s patients, and contribute to enhancing the medical services provided by the campaign to them. He expressed the hospital’s pride in joining the campaign partners.
