  The Director General of the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) , Dr. Nizar Haddad, and the Dutch Agricultural Consellor Egypt & Jordan, Dr. Melle Leenstra, sponsored the closing ceremony of the industrial Compost Value Chain project funded by the Dutch government in partnership with the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), Organic Fertilizer Eco System Association, Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association, Dutch Biowaste Society (BVOR), and Advance  Consulting.
  The Director General of the National Agricultural Research Center affirmed his pride in the partnership with the Dutch government and the project partners, which led to the training of more than 100 trainees of Compost practitioners, especially farmers, pointing out that the National Agricultural Research Center, since its inception, has been seeking to employ the outputs of scientific research and face the challenges facing the agricultural sector, especially  With regard to the impact of climate changes, energy and water, and coming up with a safe agricultural product to advance the agricultural sector and achieve the desired food security, which requires concerted national efforts to enhance sustainability.
  The Dutch Agricultural Consellor Egypt & Jordan, Dr. Melle Leenstra, said that Jordan is the focus of the Dutch government's attention through effective national institutions such as the National Agricultural Research Center, the scientific arm of the Ministry of Agriculture, as it is the incubator of pioneering projects, especially those related to reducing climatic and environmental challenges and capable of implementing agricultural projects in  Stations and research centers scattered throughout the country.
   For her part, Engineer Lamia Al-Dabbas, Country Director of Advance Consulting, expressed her happiness in the partnership with the National Agricultural Research Center, which was able to implement training for farmers, agricultural engineers, and women through farmer field schools and associations, in addition to creating a participatory systematic work to produce Compost.
