Drug dealer affiliated to int'l cartels arrested in possession of narcotic pills-PSD

 

  special security team from the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) and Royal Badia Forces (RBF) raided and arrested a drug dealer in the northern Badia region, and seized huge quantities of narcotics in his possession.

In a statement on Thursday, the media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the joint raid was carried out following investigations about a person, who stored "large" quantities of narcotic substances inside his home.

The investigations confirmed the dealer's affiliation to international cartels working to smuggle narcotic substances, the spokesperson added.

By searching the suspect's house, the security agents found 600,000 narcotic pills and 510 palm-sized sheets of hashish, and an investigation was launched into the case, the official noted.
