Results of the competition for the El Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence for the year 2023

The General Secretariat of The Higher Council for Science and Technology has the pleasure to announce the following winning projects of "El Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence" which is allocated this year to Institutions of General Education (excluding the Vocational) is as follows:

1.The first award (10,000 JD) is shared between "Al-Zubayriyah Elementary for Boys/ Ma'an" for its project "Our Green Environment Greenhouse Farming”, and "Al Ridwan Schools/ Amman” for its project "The Robot Sustainable Projects and Community Service”.

2.The second award (7,000 JD) is shared between "Al-Mughirah Bin Shu'bah Secondary School for Boys/Zarqa'a " for its project "STEAME lab an incubator for creativity, innovation, and talent development at al Mughirah Bin Shu'ba Secondary School for Boys”, and "Al-Ra'ed A-Arabi School” for its project "Reducing the impact of treated water on the drip irrigation system”.

3.The third award (5,000 JD) is shared between "Al-Joufah Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls/Balqa'a "for its project "Wicking beds garden”, and "Al Dur Al Manthour Schools/Amman "Own the keys to the future a comprehensive program for teaching 21st century skills.

The number of applications submitted to the award office in the General Secretariat of the Council has reached (78) projects by (73) institutions concerned with general education, with the exception of vocational education. The winners of this award will be honored in a ceremony that will be held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal. - Chairman of the Supreme Council for Science and Technology -.
