Petra partakes in training course in China
Nayrouz News Agency : The Jordan News Agency (Petra) is participating in a training course targeting press officers and journalists from Arab countries.

The course is hosted by the Advanced International Education and Training Center of the China International Telecom Group and sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

The two-week session aims to enhance friendship between China and Arab countries and cooperation in media and other fields, as well as promote the development of economic and social human resources.

In addition to journalists from Petra, journalists from Palestine, Iraq, and Morocco are participating in the training course, which includes various lectures and seminars on the coverage of international news by the Chinese media, cooperation between the Chinese and Arab media, and other topics.

The course also includes lectures related to Chinese-Arab cooperation within the framework of the security initiative, and an overview of the national conditions in China, in addition to visits to Chinese commercial and tourism sites.

In addition, the Deputy Director of the Center for International Education and Advanced Training of the China International Telecommunications Group Fang Fan stressed the importance of the course in strengthening Chinese-Arab relations in the field of media, exchanging experiences and information, and developing media skills, in addition to informing the world and Arab countries of the reality of China.

She touched on the role of the center and the work it carries out in the field of media publishing, studies and research with the aim of strengthening Chinese relations with various countries of the world, explaining that the center has published 4,000 books in more than 40 languages, edited 36 multilingual periodicals, and published books and periodicals for more than 180 countries.

During the opening, the Deputy Director of the International Research and Training Department at the Center, Feng Yen, spoke about the most important topics of the course and their importance in strengthening Chinese-Arab cooperation in the media field.
