A security force from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and an anti-drug team on Sunday arrested two wanted men classified as "very dangerous and armed " suspects in two separate raids, west of central Balqa governorate, Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced.
In the first raid, a CID investigative team followed up information about a "wanted and very dangerous" person, who is hunted down on multiple counts related to cases of threats and abuse, as well as carrying weapons and firing bullets, PSD media spokesperson said in a statement on Sunday.
The spokesperson added that the security force successfully located the suspect, who was then raided and arrested, and seized with a firearm and a quantity of ammunition.
During the second raid, a security force from the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) successfully arrested a "very dangerous wanted" and armed suspect hunted down on subpoenas for State Security Court (SSC). His whereabouts were located in an area west of Balqa and a bag of marijuana was seized in his possession, the spokesperson said.
