The Southern Military Zone, in a joint operation with specialized security military units, successfully foiled an infiltration attempt on one of its fronts late Saturday.

The incident involved four individuals, two of whom held Uzbek nationality, while the remaining two were of Kazakh origin.

According to a military source from the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army, border guard personnel effectively employed established combat protocols, resulting in the apprehension of the infiltrators. Subsequently, the detainees were handed over to appropriate authorities for further processing.

The source underscored the resolute commitment of the Armed Forces to swiftly and resolutely respond to any attempt at infiltration or illicit border activities. The paramount objective remains the preservation of national security by safeguarding the country's borders from potential threats.
