Jordan Field Hospital staff member injured in Khan Younis by unknown gunshot
Nayrouz News Agency : A member of the Jordanian Field Hospital/2 in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, sustained an injury by an unknown source gunshot while performing his humanitarian duties at the hospital, the official spokesperson for the Jordanian Armed Forces/Arab Army, announced Monday.

In a statement, the spokesperson said that Sergeant Sharif Jihad Mohammed Al-Ayasrah suffered a gunshot wound to his right thigh, adding that the necessary medical aid had been provided to him, and surgery will be conducted to remove the metal and explore the arteries and nerves. His general condition is stable.

Furthermore, it was confirmed that there is no material damage, and all hospital staff are safe. The medical teams operating in the Gaza Strip continue to provide medical and therapeutic services, fulfilling their humanitarian duty to the people of Gaza.
