Nayrouz News Agency :

Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan Sunday met heads of health professional associations as part of meetings that will continue with various sectors and national institutions.

Hassan praised professional associations' role, "The government appreciates this role and is keen to maintain dialogue and consultation with them in the programmes and plans it implements to leverage their expertise in various fields and sectors as well as in issues of interest to associations."

Hassan said his government seeks to cooperate with all sectors to implement political, economic and administrative modernisation visions.

Hassan said the government is working within a clear plan to achieve the goals of the Economic Modernisation Vision, noting the "important and primary" role of the private sector and associations in achieving the goals of the vision.

During the meeting at the Prime Ministry, association heads discussed mechanisms to enhance medical tourism, support pharmaceutical and therapeutic industries and medical supplies, enhance employment opportunities for graduates and develop health and medical-related laws.

The Prime Minister said his government "takes seriously" the issues and observations raised, promising to hold subsequent meetings with specialists and stakeholders from the government and associations in the coming weeks to discuss them in detail.
