Government support for subsidised goods in 2025 budget remains unchanged
Nayrouz News Agency :

The government's support for subsidised goods in the 2025 budget will remain unchanged despite differences in allocation values compared to the 2024 budget.

In a conference, Finance Minister Abdul Hakim Shabli explained that the variations in allocation values stem from the anticipated decline in global wheat and barley prices, which does not signify any reduction in support for the goods, reaffirming that subsidies for gas cylinders and bread will continue as they are.

The support for the National Aid Fund (NAF) has increased by JOD20 million, raising the total to JOD280 million, and the Student Support Fund has been boosted by JOD10 million, bringing its total to JOD30 million, according to Shabli.
