For the third consecutive year, Jordan Kuwait Bank has been recognized as the "Best CSR Bank in Jordan” for 2025 by Global Banking & Finance Review. This award reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to the local community and sustainable development.
In 2024, the bank significantly expanded its initiatives, including women’s empowerment, youth support, environmental protection, education, and poverty alleviation. The number of community projects increased by 13%, reaching a total of 280 initiatives.
Jordan Kuwait Bank also worked to foster a culture of volunteerism among its employees, with approximately 417 staff members participating in volunteer activities—30% of whom were women.
Commenting on this achievement, Haethum Buttikhi, CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank, stated, "Winning this prestigious award for the third consecutive year underscores our deep commitment to social responsibility and demonstrates the tangible, lasting impact of our initiatives.”
Buttikhi expressed pride in the dedication of the bank’s employees, emphasizing that their efforts are a key driver of the bank’s social and environmental goals, adding, "Our corporate social responsibility strategy is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that our contributions create meaningful change.
