Two social protection programmes to be launched on Thursday — Adaileh
Nayrouz News Agency : Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh on Wednesday said that the launch of certain programmes related to social protection has been postponed to Thursday, including the government programme to support daily wage workers, which was originally scheduled to launch on Wednesday.

Adaileh told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that on Thursday, Prime Minister Omar Razzaz will launch two programmes, one of which includes a mechanism to support daily wage workers.

He added that the second programme includes a series of important measures and decisions to support workers in affected economic entities and protect them from the effects of unemployment through the Social Security Corporation.

The minister noted that the delay aims to provide time to complete all arrangements related to the two programmes and to ensure their full readiness to launch.
