The meeting, which was held via videoconference and chaired by President of the World Bank Group David Malpass from Washington, DC, discussed the WB’s Emergency Response to fight the novel coronavirus, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The WB will provide up to $160 billion in long-term financial support over the next 15 months, with an emphasis on protecting the most vulnerable communities around the world.
The Planning Ministry, according to a ministry statement, is working with donors and UN organisations to mobilise support for the Jordanian government to fight COVID-19.
