Nayrouz News Agency : The King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba is undergoing maintenance operations in anticipation of potential return of flights after the government eased lockdown measures prompted by the COVID-19 crisis in the southern governorate.
Speaking to Petra, General Manager of the Aqaba Airports Company (AAC), Nasser Majali, said the move is intended to prepare the airport and its facilities for any future reopening in the future, adding that the passenger terminal was sterilized in cooperation with the Royal Engineering Corps.
