Eight coronavirus cases confirmed at Omari border crossing, none within Kingdom — Jaber
Nayrouz News Agency : Six coronavirus patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals on Monday, Health Minister Saad Jaber said.

During a press briefing at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management on Monday evening, he said that the recoveries include three patients from King Abdullah University Hospital, two from Prince Hamzah Hospital and one from Queen Alia Military Hospital.

The minister said that no new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the Kingdom. However, eight truck drivers were confirmed to be infected at the Omari border crossing between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, bringing the caseload to 425, he announced.

The eight cases include three Jordanians and five foreigners, all of whom are currently being treated according to the approved medical protocol.

Jaber warned against circulating uncertified research papers related to COVID-19, stressing that such papers confuse the public, especially when read and interpreted by non-specialists.

The National Anti-Pandemic Committee and the Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Royal Medical Services and universities, are closely following global developments in the fight against the pandemic, adding that only certified treatment methods are applied in the Kingdom.
