Huneiti checks on design, development of defence equipment
Nayrouz News Agency : Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday visited the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB), received by its director general and the directors of affiliated companies, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During the tour, Huneiti listened to a briefing about the role of the centre in designing and developing defence equipment, testing them and referring them to the concerned companies.

He also checked on the companies’ capabilities to create equipment, such as helmets, bulletproof vests and light weapons, for soldiers on the field.

During the tour, Huneiti commended the capabilities of the KADDB and praised the efforts exerted by the officials at the centre and the affiliated companies.

The tour was attended by the assistant of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for planning, organisation and defence resources and senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
