Nayrouz News Agency : Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Tareq Hammouri on Wednesday decided to allow shops and businesses within malls to resume their work, except for gaming halls, movie theatres, cafes and restaurants.

He stressed the importance of adhering to public safety and health regulations, maintaining social distancing between customers, organising queues and following sterilisation procedures and other requirements, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Specialised oversight teams from the Ministries of Industry, Trade and Supply and Labour, the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, the Greater Amman Municipality and other municipalities will conduct extensive monitoring tours of commercial centres and all facilities authorised to operate to ensure their compliance with public safety standards, Hammouri said.
