During his tour, Huneiti was briefed on the groups’ work since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, including transferring arrivals to the Kingdom from Queen Alia International Airport to the quarantine sites in the Dead Sea area, in addition to taking part in the transport of patients during the curfew period to and from hospitals, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The groups are also involved in transporting truck drivers who enter Jordan via its border crossings to the quarantine sites designated for them.
Huneiti also visited the information technology training institute, where he was briefed on the institute’s various programmes implemented during the coronavirus crisis, including conducting 80 distance courses for some 2,700 users.
During the visit, Huneiti inaugurated the new expansion of the institute’s training halls.
