Al Rai, partners to offer trainings on countering media disinformation
Nayrouz News Agency : Al Rai Centre for Media Training, in partnership with UNESCO Amman and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, is organising media training courses in June to counter media disinformation and misinformation.

These courses are part of a series of events organised by UNESCO and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation following the launch of a media training guidebook for journalists to counter disinformation.

The guidebook was prepared by a group of experts from around the world to mark World Press Freedom Day on May 3.

Jordan Press Foundation (JPF) Director General Jihad Shari said that organising these courses and the foundation's openness to Arab and international organisations is "part of the JPF's belief that protecting the responsible freedom of expression will not be achieved but through an international effort that enhances the importance of media institutions"
