Nayrouz News Agency : Mercury levels on Monday will be slightly below annual average as
moderate summer weather conditions will prevail in the mountains and
plains, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom,
according to a daily weather report issued by the Jordan Meteorological
Department (JMD).
Low-altitude clouds are also expected to appear
in the northern and central regions with a weak chance for light
showers in the northern areas, the Department said.
Temperatures
in Amman today are predicted to reach a high of 30 degrees during the
day and a low of 19 at night, while in the Dead Sea and the port city of
Aqaba it will hit 40, 41 degrees respectively during daytime, sliding
to 27 and 26 during night hours.
Tuesday and Wednesday are
expected to bring in similar weather conditions, with clouds at low
altitude and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
