The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) and Better Business are collaborating through a recently signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) to launch a series of live talks and free training sessions for youth.
The MoU was signed by CPF CEO Tamam Mango and Founder and CEO of Better Business Abeer Qumsieh, according to a CPF statement.
The MoU, which was signed at the CPF headquarters, stipulated a mutual commitment to launch a series of live talks and training sessions for youth, addressing important and timely topics such as developing entrepreneurial and leadership skills and mental health, aiming to engage youth in positive activities.
"This joint effort is aligned with the CPF’s vision of ‘Capable youth for an aspiring Jordan’ and is in line with our focus areas of Employability and Entrepreneurship, leadership, and citizenship. Through this partnership, we aspire to reach and engage with youth from all around the Kingdom,” the statement quoted Mango as saying.
"In our previous collaboration with Better Business we were able to provide unique opportunities for youth by helping them invest their time in positive and constructive ways,” Mango added.
"We’re very proud to work with the Crown Prince Foundation and excited to launch these online training programmes,” said Qumsieh in the statement.
"During the lockdown several months ago, we hosted a series of online workshops and training with the CPF, which were attended by hundreds of people, as a means to keep people engaged and use this time to work on their skills, both practical and personal. Building on this success with the CPF, we have decided to grow this engagement to reach even more youth in Jordan with topics they care about and are important to them so we can make an impact on their lives.”
The Crown Prince Foundation and Better Business have previously implemented a series of live talks and sessions through Zoom meetings with local youth influencers and decision makers, such as an introductory session on empowerment and entrepreneurship, and youth leadership in times of crisis.
