The minister added that travellers to the Kingdom must visit "Visit Jordan” platform via www.visitjordan.gov.jo to fill out the form available on the website.

Once the form is filled, passengers get a QR code, he said, noting that no traveller will be allowed to board the aircraft without this code and shall bear legal consequences, otherwise.

In an effort to make matters easier for incoming travellers, an amendment was made to the required duration of the negative PCR test to be conducted prior to the travel date where it was increased to five days in place of the previous requirement of only three days. The requirement for another PCR test upon arrival to the airport remains unchanged.

The government allowed the resumption of regular flights in the Kingdom’s airports as of September, 8, following the suspension of all regular commercial flights to and from the country since March, 17 of 2020.

Since the reoperation of regular flights to and from Jordan, Queen Alia International Airport has received 3,203 passengers to date, while 4,284 passengers left through the airport.
