Relatively hot weather conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba where it will be sizzling, with medium-altitude clouds and southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Temperatures will rise few degrees on Friday, marking 4-5 degrees above their annual average and bringing relatively hot weather in the highlands and plains, and hot conditions in other regions, with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.

A slight drop in mercury levels is predicted on Saturday. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in most areas of the country, and hot in the Dead Sea, the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, the JMD noted.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 21C at night, while highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 41C, and lows will stand at 26C during night hours.
