Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Tuesday cast his vote in the parliamentary elections of the 19th Lower House in Aidon area at the third constituency in Irbid.

In remarks to the press after voting, Khasawneh expressed honour after performing the "national duty and Constitutional right”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prime minister also commended the procedures of the Independent Election Commission in administering the elections and holding them in a "smooth way” that takes into consideration physical distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
