Nayrouz News Agency : A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, but they will
remain below their seasonal average, so relatively cold weather will
prevail until Monday in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan
Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be moderate.
According
to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), clouds at low altitude
are also forecast to appear in the northern and central regions, while
winds will be northwesterly light.
A further increase in mercury
levels is forecast on Tuesday, bringing fair conditions nationwide with
high clouds and southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Daytime
temperatures expected for today will reach 18 degrees Celsius in Amman
and 13 in the northern cities, dropping down at night to 10 and 7C
respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with
highs reaching 28 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18 degrees at
night.
