Nayrouz News Agency : The Board of Directors of the Arab Potash Company (APC) Monday decided
to appoint Shehada Abu Hudaib as its chairman, succeeding Jamal
Sarayreh, who was appointed as a member of the Senate.
The Ministry of Finance had nominated Abu Hudaib as its representative on the company's board as of December 18, 2020.
Abu
Hudaib holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the
University of Texas, USA. He also held many positions, most notably
member of the 26th Senate, Minister of Municipal Affairs (2007-2009),
Director-General of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation,
Director-General of the Petra Development Region Authority / Chairman,
Assistant Secretary-General for Planning Affairs, Director of Amman
Municipality Tenders Department, Member of the Higher Organization
Council of the Ministry of Municipalities, member of the Government
Tender Committee at the Ministry of Public Works, member of the Board of
Directors of the National/ Social Security Company, and Deputy Chairman
Board of Directors of the Mortgage Return Company, and Vice Chairman of
the Board of Trustees of the Hashemite Fund for the Development of the
Badia region.
Abu Hudaib was also awarded the Independence Order of the First Class.
