ACC issues 30,647 certificates of origin in 2020
Nayrouz News Agency :  The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) issued 30,647 certificates of origin in 2020, compared to 37,365 certificates in the corresponding period of 2019.

According to figures released Monday, the value of certificates of origin issued by the ACC stood at JD836 million in 2020 compared to JD997 million in 2019.

In its country breakdown of the figures, the ACC noted that a total of 7,808 certificates were issued for shipments exported to Saudi Arabia, followed by the UAE (4,309), Iraq (1,426), Egypt (772) and Switzerland (42).

The majority of exports over the past year went to Iraq which accounted for JD197 million, followed by the UAE (JD129 million), Switzerland (JD125 million), Saudi Arabia (JD68 million), and Egypt (JD51 million).

Furthermore, the value of re-exports (exports of foreign products) stood at JD363 million, while the value of agricultural exports amounted to JD129 million, JD94 million for industrial exports, and JD24 million for Arab products.
