The latest weather depression and downpours fed the Kingdom's 13 dams with an additional 1.5 million cubic meters (cm), raising their storage to 104.4 million cm, 31 per cent of the total capacity of 336.4m cm, according to Minister of Water and Irrigation Mutassim Saidan.
He said in a ministry statement Monday that since the start of the rainy season, the cumulative rainfall in all of the governorates of the Kingdom has increased to 2208.7m mc, about 26.9 per cent of the long-term annual average of 8196.8m cm.
