Nayrouz News Agency :
Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to Jordan on Wednesday discussed advancing Jordanian-Gulf relations and boosting coordination and cooperation in various fields.

The talks that followed Al Ula summit in Saudi Arabia were aimed at exchanging views and coordinating stances in support of joint issues, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Al Sudairi highlighted that the final statement of Al Ula summit has reiterated supporting Jordan’s security, as well as included intensifying efforts towards implementing joint action plans that fall within the framework of the strategic partnership between the countries of the GCC and Jordan.

The diplomat also drew attention to the necessity of a unified position against interference in the region’s issues and threats targeting regional security and stability, Petra reported.

Ambassador of Bahrain Ahmed Al Ruwai; Kuwait, Aziz Al Daihani; the UAE, Ahmed Al Balushi; Qatar, Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani; and Oman, Hilal Al Maamari, stressed that the Jordanian-Gulf ties have set an example for Arab cooperation in all fields and "a bright model” to build upon to boost joint Arab action and activate agreements made in this arena.
